- SAITEK X52 SOFTWARE NOT WORKING DRIVER
The only issue left is with the display on the throttle unit, but unfortunately we can't do much about it unless someone wants to write an up-to date driver for Windows 7.
SAITEK X52 SOFTWARE NOT WORKING INSTALL
I uninstalled the drivers and the software, unplugged the USB cable launched the driver install software, plugged in the cable when prompted to and then rebooted. I installed the USB Card in my tower, replaced the PS2 cable linking the stick to the throttle to get some more length and flexibility and the same for the USB cable.
SAITEK X52 SOFTWARE NOT WORKING 64 BIT
(For the record I run a Windows 7 64 bit machine, I'm not sure how these xHCI problems carry over to other systems or hardware configs) Unless you run into any of the other typical problems seen by x52 users, this might solve your problems and save you some of the pains I experienced. If you experience these problems 1) completely uninstall Saitek software 2) go into BIOS and disable xHCI 3) reboot windows and install the latest Saitek drivers. When the same driver install software is ran on the win 8 machine. In turn the program software work then on the win 7 machine. I have been successful finding the drivers and software for my rudder pedals (which provides you a feedback curve to test the full range of movement and allows you to set 'deadspots' if desired). I think I meant to post some of my posts here under the main joystick bug concerning ARMA not recognizing more than a certain number of joystick buttons and axis. It is unfortunate that I have not been able to locate the software for the X52 (either online or sorting through my mountains of accumulated 'stuff' to find the original CD). I have tested the x52 on a window 7 machine and the driver install program runs and the drivers are installed correctly. Saiteks most recent release of their drivers and Profiling software seems better, and appears finally working but may still have some problems.
